Tiron again ponders, should he do it? Tiron turns toward the sphere and...
With some quick thinking, Raphael motions Tiron's way and whispers out a short phrase.
It was a good attempt to blind Tiron before he can reach for the colorful stones orbiting just a few feet away. But it fails. Noticing a bit of strangeness in his eyes, Tiron turns toward Raphael when...
Brau'ni grabs Tiron to restrain him from grabbing a stone before he can clear out of the area.
"Tiron, are you going to grab a stone? If so, give me ten minutes before you do so."
Brau'ni lets Tiron go.
Tiron, thinking about how great it would be to get ones of those stones, ponders his action. Thinking to himself, "Hey, Delf got one with no trouble, and..." Then looks at the party and says, "OK... One, two, three..."
Before anyone can say KENNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!, Tiron reaches for the stones...
"I got one, I got one!" exclaims Tiron. As he gazes at the pale blue rhomboid, a cold male voice booms out, "Challenge!" Then Tiron glows with a vivid blue faerie fire-like aura.
"Oh no, not again," sighs Brau'ni. "Run!"
The party makes haste to leave the area.
Tiron follows.
As the party heads for a "safer" place to hide, Tiron exclaims, "Hey, nothing happened!"
And so it seems, as a few minutes go by, and nothing seems to happen. There is no loud noise, no explosion, no lightning bolt, no reverse gravity, just a glowing Tiron with a wide smile on his face.
Then, Tiron, looking a bit pale in the face, glows brighter and flares out. He starts to complain about a warm feeling in his mouth. As he tries to figure out what is happening, Delf notices Tiron sloshing something around in his mouth, like one would do when tasting something bitter and foul.
"This doesn't look good. DUCK!!" yells Delf.
As the party hits the floor, Tiron, not able to hold it in his mouth any longer, exhales a cone of fire 10 feet wide and 20 feet long right in the direction of Cel. Luckily, since everyone was sort of prepared, Cel takes only minimal damage from the blistering heat.
"Oops," quips Tiron. "Sorry. Must have been the rations I had for lunch didn't agree with me."
